How to find your signature scent

Finding your own signature scent can be very overwhelming because there are SO MANY perfumes on the market these days. I'm the type of person that needs to smell nice at all times because who wants to be that person that has really bad body odour?

Skins are going to act differently
Just like a lipstick when you apply a lipstick on someone that has pale skin to someone that has tanned skin they aren't going to look the same and that goes with perfume. So if you smell a really nice perfume on your friend then the chances are it's most likely not going to smell the exact same on you.

Try smelling only 3 at a time
This is an obvious tip if you're having a shopping day with the gals and you're trying on different types of perfume at a time then your not going to remember which one you like. Allow time between each spray so you can get a good swift of each perfume.

 All perfumes have different layers
I actually had no idea about this fact until I started doing some research for this blog post. Perfumes have 2 layers, the first layer of your perfume is the layer you smell straight away and only lasts 20 minutes then the second layer is the middle layer which is called "the heart" and that is usually the layer that lasts about 4 hours and that is the deeper scent of your perfume. Just keep this in mind when you are spraying different perfumes at once because you aren't going to find the true smell after 20 minutes, let your perfume sit for a couple of hours then come back and spray another one.

Pick a posy ( Floral perfume )

Floral perfumes are usually the fragrance people tend to lean towards the most because they're usually the ones where you can wear all year round and who knows maybe the floral perfume could be the winner.

Picking your own signature scent can be really hard considering there are so many to chose from and  I hope this blog post helps you in decided which fragrance to make your signature smell. Send me a Dm or comment below which is your favourite perfume.

Love,
