How to achieve the perfect nude lip combo
Even though I have so many nude lipsticks they all look the same, they all have different finishes and different formulas. My favourite brands to by lipsticks or liquid lipsticks from are Mac Cosmetics, Huda Beauty and Too Faced Cosmetics, There the brands I tend to stick too because I know they will work the best.
Even out of those three brands I usually still pick Mac Cosmetics lipsticks and no this blog post isn't sponsored by Mac (I wish it was) I just prefer how their lipstick looks on my lips. I have 2 combos that I usually gravitate towards and there usually the two lipsticks I wear. My all-time favourite lipstick and lipliner combination is Spice lip liner and Honey Love, I find this combination looks best on all skin tones and suitable for every occasion.

Prep your lips
I always like to prep my lips and mainly in winter going into spring because how crazy the weather changes all the time, and applying lipstick over chapped lips ain't cute. Before you start applying your foundation apply some lip scrub or lip balm onto your lips to hydrate your lips before applying your lipstick. Make sure you remove any lip product you use before you continue onto the next step :)
Apply foundation over your lips
Yes, you read that right. Applying foundation over your lips before applying lipstick is the best way to achieve any lip combo. Why? Because when you apply foundation over your lips it cancels out your natural lip colour and you be able to get to see the natural colour of the lipstick you have chosen. Once you have applied your foundation on your lips make sure you set it with powder to ensure it won't move.
Line your lips with lip liner
Some people don't like lip liner which I understand because sometimes it will make your lipstick look different, but if you get a lip liner to go with the lipstick you are wearing then it will pull your whole look together. Line your lips and if you want to make your lips look bigger then sure go ahead. Once you have finished applying your lip liner make sure you colour your lips in too.
Lipstick time
My favourite thing to do when I am doing my makeup, watching your look come together when you apply your lipstick is the greatest feeling ever (or am I the only one that feels like that? I hope not ah ah)
And bam, you have finished your look. I also love to spray some setting spray all over my face and I personally think that this also helps your lipstick stay on longer too.
