I'm sure we all want something that we can't have whether that is bigger lips or longer hair but are you someone who likes your appearance without wanting to change your features, but you know that it still needs the tiny improvement?



I'm someone who really likes my natural hair but I know it needs improvement and luckily enough I can improve my curly hair with these hot rollers. Also whenever I put them in I always feel like I'm in a 70's movie.

T H E  G O A L 

1. Volume. One thing I love about using heat tools to curl your hair is how much volume they give. Especially hot rollers. Hot Rollers are designed to give volume to your hair where a curling wand doesn't really give you any volume at all. If your someone who loves volume in your hair then I would lean towards the Hot Rollers. 

2. Natural Curl. When I curl my hair I always love to lean towards the "beachy curl" or the "Victoria Secret curl" because of how bouncy my hair looks whenever It's done right. I personally hate the look of tight curls because I've always grown up with tight curls, so why lean towards something I've always had? 

3. Low Maintenance. One thing I love about the Hot Rollers is that they are very Low Maintenance and you don't have to spend 30 minutes or more on styling your hair. The best thing about hot rollers is that you can leave them in your hair while you are doing your makeup and getting ready. It's a win-win right?

About the Hot Rollers 

Ultimate Salon Setter ($94.95) The name says it all. If you want the "Salon" styled hair but on a low budget then this will be your best friend. This has been the first Hot Rollers I have ever used because I've always thought that the wand was the best way to get the perfect wave, but oh boy was I wrong. After being sent this in PR (Which I will be forever grateful for) I have been converted. I can see why hairdressers prefer the Hot Rollers over wands because of how much they can save time, chuck them in and off you go to do something different. If you are a beginner in curling your hair I would suggest in getting your hands on some affordable Hot Rollers to muck around in seeing what way works for you. 

The best thing about Hot Rollers is how you can customize any curl to your needs, Whether you're wanting some really big curls or some really loose curls you can do any style of curls and you aren't limited to one style. which is something I have really been loving. 

The packaging is also another thing I was really surprised with because before this PR package I have never really looked into using hot rollers because I've always thought that they would be really hard to put away whenever you don't need them. 

To Secure 

For someone who has really long hair, I thought it would be impossible to get all of my hair onto one roller because I know when I curl my hair with a wand I struggle to fit all of my hair onto the wand. But with the hot rollers, all I have to do is roll the rollers to the very bottom of my hair and then secure the roller with a clip that comes with your tools. 

Securing your hot rollers may look scary when you are first applying them in your hair but when you keep on practising you will find a method that will suit you and your hair. Just like everything else in life, practice makes perfect.

M E T H O D 

Step 1 

When you are just about to curl your hair you need to think of what style you are going for because the more rollers you put in the more curls you have (Duh). I always like the look of less is more so I usually only put half of the rollers in my hair and spread them out. 

Step 2 

So you have decided on what style you want right? If you are like me and you love the beachy look and the not so tight curl then use the smaller rollers and place them all over your hair to get an even curl. The way the rollers work is that the smaller the roller = loose curl and bigger the roller = bigger curls and more volume. 

Step 3 

Whenever I curl my hair (even when using wands) I ALWAYS curl away from my face. Because I love the look of the curls bouncing away and shaping my face. Apply some rollers a little away from your ears to get that away from face look, and always apply your roller underneath to get that perfect curl. 

Step 4

My favourite part about curling my hair is taking them out and seeing the end result. When you are removing your rollers make sure you take the pins out one by one and also the rollers out one by one and as you are letting your hair drop into your hand make sure you let your hair cool down in your hand to keep the shape of the curl.

F I N A L  V I R D I C T 

I can tell you now that I have been converted to a hot roller girl and I am loving it. For someone that is really lazy (aka ME) this is the perfect method/tool to get the perfect curl, you never see me with curly hair much because I'm super lazy to sit there and curl my hair for 30 minutes to an hour after spending 2 hours on my makeup. These hot rollers are the perfect time savers for someone who is impatient and doesn't like to spend a lot of time on their hair. 

I'm obsessed with everything and I love how the rollers make my hair look the best thing I love about having long hair is how luscious my curls look after everything has been done. If you are a beginner like me then I 100% recommend these to get the perfect curl.
