Tatcha Basics: The Silk Cream, Luminous Dewy Skin Mist, Silk Canvas Primer, One Step Camellia cleansing Oil
I've never really been a big fan of SkinCare items because I hate spending a lot of money on products that nobody can see. Recently my whole mindset has changed after getting some Biore' and Gairner products sent and after testing and trying them I can see why people always preach about making sure your SkinCare is a must.
After hearing so many good things about Tatcha I decided to purchase a few items and incorporate into my routine. I've always been a little bit unsure with Tatcha just because of the price range but the one thing I love about Tatcha is how they always do gift sets if you don't want to spend hundreds of dollars on skincare then I recommend waiting until they come out with their boxes (which they always do)
The Silk Cream: I received the Silk Cream in a gift set box Tatcha was doing for Black Friday sales and I was so excited to try the cream out. I applied it onto my skin with my fingers for it to act like a moisturiser and a primer. If you have tried the Mac Cosmetics strobe cream range it is very similar to them but the cream is very light and has a "luxury" feel to it. It glides onto your skin very clear with a little hint of shimmer to give a dewy look. I 100% recommend purchasing this cream and using it on special occasions or even everyday wear if you want your makeup to last all day.
Luminous Dewy Skin Mist: I'm sure if you are a beauty junkie then you have heard about this beauty of a gem going around on the gram. At first, I wasn't sure why this mist had so much hype but then I decided to bite the bullet and purchase it. I personally don't use this Dewy mist as a setting spray but I have been loving using it as a spray to melt all my creams into my skin to make sure everything has been blended out properly. Ever since I have been adding this step into my routine it has made everything look less powdery. After using it now for a couple of weeks I can definitely see why everyone loves this mist.
Silk Canvas Primer: Holy shit, another product from Tatcha I was a bit unsure about because of the price but after reading all the reviews on Mecca's website and how everyone says this is a game changer I knew I needed it. I apply my Silk cream and this canvas primer together before I apply my foundation and let me tell you something, This combo is a game changer. It leaves your base with a silk/satin finish with all your blemishes and pores completely blurred out. Since this primer isn't a liquid form I love to apply it with a flat foundation brush to get it all even and all over my face.
One Step Camellia Cleansing Oil: I have only used this cleansing oil a couple of times and I have only used it when I haven't had a full face of makeup on (only foundation and powder). So far I love how it removes my makeup. I have been applying the Oil directly onto the back of my hand then apply it to my skin in sections then grabbing a cotton pad and removing my makeup off in circles.
I love how this cleanser makes my skin feels after.
Have you tried anything from Tatcha? If you have what products did you like and what didn't you like if you weren't happy with them. I would love to hear your thoughts.
Love,
