A New Year Beauty Haul

Nothing brings me more happiness than buying new makeup, the feel of new makeup and the smell of new makeup is something that really brings me joy. I told myself that in the new year that I was going to stop spending so much money on makeup and start saving, which I now know that is impossible for me because being a beauty blogger requires you to test and try out new makeup to keep you relevant and in the game.

Not that I need to find any excuse in buying new makeup but I have been a sucker for Mecca's new packaging it's amazing and I always keep it and put it on display in my beauty area because it's that gorge. I promise you that this blog post isn't sponsored by mecca but I honestly wish it was because what girl doesn't love walking into Mecca?

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Bronzer: Now this bronzer has been sitting in my cart for a very very long time but I couldn't bring myself in purchasing it because of the price. I mean $73 for one bronzer? but after receiving a lot of Mecca vouchers for Christmas I had to buy it straight away and I'm so glad I did because I can now see why this range has so many people raving about it.

Mac Cosmetics Eyeshadow Slow Fast Slow:  I have never owned a Mac eyeshadow, Crazy I know? I love Mac and I find that Mac is one of the few brands that no matter what product you buy it's going to be amazing. Lately, I haven't been really into wearing eyeshadows until I watched a girl showing her makeup look wearing this shadow and oh my god it looks amazing on the skin. The only downside of this eyeshadow is that I find it's best to apply it with your finger to get the better pigment.

Too Face Cosmetics Born This Way Foundation: I use to use this foundation when it first launched back in the day but I didn't really love it and was really disappointed when everyone kept on raving about it but I think it as the way I was applying it because when I did first wear it I was using a beauty blender but now I use a flat top brush.

Urban Decay Drop Shot Mix-In Facial Oil: I have used a couple of oils before but I have never really known how to apply it with my foundation and how to make sure I don't go over the top but after watching Kylie Jenner's makeup artist tutorial and the way he used it made the skin look incredible. The one he was using was going to cost me an arm and a leg and most of us don't have a Kardashian bank account, so I ended up purchasing this one after reading all the reviews.

Mac Cosmetics Lipstick in Faux: Ahhhhh, I'm a sucker for any Mac lipsticks. I always reach for them and I always know that I can rely on them to last all day and all night. Won't go much into detail because you all know how much I love my Mac lipsticks and I might do a separate blog post all about them.

I'm not sure if some of you are actually aware of this but my birthday has actually just passed and another thing I love about Mecca is their pointing system and their beauty loops so of course, I had to pick up my birthday beauty loop. In this birthday beauty loop and this year, it was an illuminating body oil, Super excited to see what it's like.

If you are from Australia or have been to Australia, what do you love getting from Mecca? I also promise you that this isn't sponsored by Mecca I just received a lot of their gift cards from Birthday and Christmas and wanted to show you what I picked out.

Love Always,
